JOIN OUR ST. JOHN’S FAMILY ON A JOURNEY THROUGH LENT

Ash Wednesday service with Holy Communion will be February 18th at 6:30 p.m. The youth will be hosting a free-will donation meal at 5:30 in the church basement. The meal this week will be be ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans and dessert.

Lenten services will continue each Wednesday (February 25th through March 25th) at 6:30 p.m., with a meal starting a 5:30. Our theme, “Godly Grief: The Emotions of Repentance”, will examine one of the five components of grief – bargaining, anger, sadness, denial, and acceptance. The hope and goal of this series is to give you, the children of God, permission to feel complex emations as the normal and expected process of repentence.
